HomeTurf Inc., a Virginia based outdoor living and swimming pool contracting company is proud to announce that Cherrie Shackelford has been named as the company’s new President. “As our company continues to grow and diversify, I felt it was necessary to bring Cherrie onboard as the official leader of the company. My new role will be in the Sales and Marketing efforts of the company. This transition will help insure the future growth and longevity of the company,” according to the companies former President Robbie Shackelford.
Mr. Shackelford successfully launched the Virginia based company 18 years ago with his wife by his side. Now she is prepared to run the company as its President. Together the two owners have helped grow the company into a multi-faceted operation with 25+ employees. “Cherrie brings the necessary management experience and industry knowledge the company needs to march forward as we continue to grow into the future,” commented Mr. Shackelford.

Cherrie has started the transition to this new position and is now the company’s official President. She will be handling the necessary corporate functions as well as act as an ambassador for the company’s brand and messaging. “My vision for the company is to have a great team-based work environment, where our employees have the opportunity to grow and expand their knowledge. Our team members are highly motivated and believe in providing the highest levels of customer service to our customers and that will translate well for us,” added Mrs. Shackelford.
